SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CALU (calumenin, also called Crocalbin) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CALU qPCR Primer Set – calumenin
About this gene: The product of CALU is a calcium-binding protein localized in the endoplasmic reticulum and it is involved in such ER acts as protein folding and sorting. The CALU protein belongs to a family of multiple EF-hand proteins that include reticulocalbin, ERC-55, and Cab45 and the product of CALU.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 813; HGNC ID: HGNC:1458; UniProt: O43852; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001219.5; Chromosome location: 7q32.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
