SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ADAM2 (ADAM metallopeptidase domain 2, also called CT15) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ADAM2 qPCR Primer Set – ADAM metallopeptidase domain 2
Also known as: CRYN1, CRYN2, CT15, FTNB, PH-30b, PH30, PH30-beta
About this gene: ADAM2 belongs to the ADAM family. Members of this family are membrane-anchored proteins structurally related to snake venom disintegrins, and have been implicated in a variety of biological processes involving cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, including fertilization, muscle development, and neurogenesis. The ADAM2 protein is a subunit of an integral sperm membrane glycoprotein called fertilin, which is important for sperm-egg interactions.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2515; HGNC ID: HGNC:198; UniProt: Q99965; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001464.5; Chromosome location: 8p11.22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
