Human CACNA1F qPCR Primer Set – calcium voltage-gated channel subunit alpha1 F

Also known as: AIED, COD3, COD4, CORDX, CORDX3, CSNB2, CSNB2A, CSNBX2, Cav1.4, Cav1.4alpha1, JM8, JMC8

About this gene: CACNA1F encodes a multipass transmembrane protein that acts as an alpha-1 subunit of the voltage-dependent calcium channel, which mediates the influx of calcium ions into the cell. The CACNA1F protein forms a complex of alpha-1, alpha-2/delta, beta, and gamma subunits in a 1:1:1:1 ratio. Mutations in CACNA1F can cause X-linked eye disorders, including congenital stationary night blindness type 2A, cone-rod dystropy, and Aland Island eye disease.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 778; HGNC ID: HGNC:1393; UniProt: O60840; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001256789.3; Chromosome location: Xp11.23

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
