SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CA9 (carbonic anhydrase 9, also called CAIX) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CA9 qPCR Primer Set – carbonic anhydrase 9
Also known as: CAIX, MN
About this gene: Carbonic anhydrases are a large family of zinc metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. They participate in a variety of biological processes, including respiration, calcification, acid-base balance, bone resorption, and the formation of aqueous humor, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, and gastric acid. They show extensive diversity in tissue distribution and in their subcellular localization.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 768; HGNC ID: HGNC:1383; UniProt: Q16790; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001216.3; Chromosome location: 9p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
