SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ADAM12 (ADAM metallopeptidase domain 12, also called Meltrin-alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ADAM12 qPCR Primer Set – ADAM metallopeptidase domain 12
Also known as: ADAM12-OT1, CAR10, MCMP, MCMPMltna, MLTN, MLTNA
About this gene: ADAM12 belongs to a family of proteins that are structurally related to snake venom disintegrins and have been implicated in a variety of biological processes involving cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, including fertilization, muscle development, and neurogenesis. Expression of ADAM12 has been used as a maternal serum marker for pre-natal development. Shorter isoforms are secreted, while longer isoforms are membrane-bound form.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8038; HGNC ID: HGNC:190; UniProt: O43184; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001288973.2; Chromosome location: 10q26.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
