SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CA12 (carbonic anhydrase 12, also called CA-XII) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CA12 qPCR Primer Set – carbonic anhydrase 12
Also known as: CA-XII, CAXII, HsT18816, T18816
About this gene: Carbonic anhydrases are a large family of zinc metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. They participate in a variety of biological processes, including respiration, calcification, acid-base balance, bone resorption, and the formation of aqueous humor, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, and gastric acid. CA12 product is a type I membrane protein that is highly expressed in normal tissues, such as kidney, colon and pancreas, and has been found to be overexpressed in 10% of clear cell renal carcinomas.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 771; HGNC ID: HGNC:1371; UniProt: O43570; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001218.5; Chromosome location: 15q22.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
