SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CA11 (carbonic anhydrase 11 (inactive), also called CA-XI) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CA11 qPCR Primer Set – carbonic anhydrase 11 (inactive)
Also known as: CA-RP, CA-RP II, CA-XI, CARP-2, CARPX1
About this gene: Carbonic anhydrases are a large family of zinc metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. They participate in a variety of biological processes, including respiration, calcification, acid-base balance, bone resorption, and the formation of aqueous humor, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, and gastric acid. They show extensive diversity in tissue distribution and in their subcellular localization.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 770; HGNC ID: HGNC:1370; UniProt: O75493; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001217.5; Chromosome location: 19q13.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
