SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ADAM11 (ADAM metallopeptidase domain 11, also called MDC) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human ADAM11 qPCR Primer Set – ADAM metallopeptidase domain 11
Also known as: MDC
About this gene: ADAM11 belongs to the ADAM protein family. Members of this family are membrane-anchored proteins structurally related to snake venom disintegrins, and have been implicated in a variety of biological processes involving cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, including fertilization, muscle development, and neurogenesis. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate the mature protease.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4185; HGNC ID: HGNC:189; UniProt: O75078; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002390.6; Chromosome location: 17q21.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
