SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human AASDHPPT (aminoadipate-semialdehyde dehydrogenase-phosphopantetheinyl transferase, also called AASD-PPT) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human AASDHPPT qPCR Primer Set – aminoadipate-semialdehyde dehydrogenase-phosphopantetheinyl transferase
Also known as: AASD-PPT, ACPS, CGI-80, LYS2, LYS5
About this gene: The AASDHPPT protein is similar to Saccharomyces cerevisiae LYS5, which is required for the activation of the alpha-aminoadipate dehydrogenase in the biosynthetic pathway of lysine. Yeast alpha-aminoadipate dehydrogenase converts alpha-biosynthetic-aminoadipate semialdehyde to alpha-aminoadipate. The AASDHPPT gene product has been suggested that defects in the human gene result in pipecolic acidemia.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 60496; HGNC ID: HGNC:14235; UniProt: Q9NRN7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_015423.3; Chromosome location: 11q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
