SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PPP1R17 (protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 17, also called G-substrate) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human PPP1R17 qPCR Primer Set – protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 17
Also known as: C7orf16, GSBS
About this gene: The PPP1R17 protein is found primarily in cerebellar Purkinje cells, where it acts as a protein phosphatase inhibitor. The PPP1R17 protein is a substrate for cGMP-dependent protein kinase. An allele of PPP1R17 was discovered that increases susceptibility to hypercholesterolemia.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10842; HGNC ID: HGNC:16973; UniProt: O96001; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006658.5; Chromosome location: 7p14.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
