Human ARHGAP42 qPCR Primer Set – Rho GTPase activating protein 42
Also known as: AD031, GRAF3, TMEM133
About this gene: ARHGAP42 encodes a Rho GTPase-activating protein, and member of the GRAF or BAR-PH family of proteins. Expression of ARHGAP42 is enriched in vascular smooth muscle cells and the ARHGAP42 protein inhibits RhoA activity to regulate vascular tone and control blood pressure. A mutation in the first intron of ARHGAP42 modulates its expression and is linked to reduced blood pressure in human patients with borderline hypertension.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 143872; HGNC ID: HGNC:26545; UniProt: A6NI28; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_152432.4; Chromosome location: 11q22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
