About this gene: RIPOR2 encodes a atypical inhibitor of the small G protein RhoA. Inhibition of RhoA activity by the RIPOR2 protein mediates myoblast fusion and polarization of T cells and neutrophils. The RIPOR2 protein is a component of hair cell stereocilia that is essential for hearing. A splice site mutation in RIPOR2 leads to hearing loss in human patients.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9750; HGNC ID: HGNC:13872; UniProt: Q9Y4F9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001286445.3; Chromosome location: 6p22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
