SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GCFC2 (GC-rich sequence DNA-binding factor 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human GCFC2 qPCR Primer Set – GC-rich sequence DNA-binding factor 2
Also known as: C2orf3, DNABF, GCF, TCF9
About this gene: The first mRNA transcript isolated for GCFC2 was part of an artificial chimera derived from two distinct gene transcripts and a primer used in the cloning process. A positively charged amino terminus present only in the chimera was determined to bind GC-rich DNA, thus mistakenly thought to identify a transcription factor gene.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6936; HGNC ID: HGNC:1317; UniProt: P16383; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003203.5; Chromosome location: 2p12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
