About this gene: Fucose is typically found as a terminal modification of branched chain glycoconjugates, but it also exists in direct O-linkage to serine or threonine residues within cystine knot motifs in epidermal growth factor-like repeats or thrombospondin type-1 repeats. POFUT2 is an O-fucosyltransferase that use THBS type-1 repeats as substrates.[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008].

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
