SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PDXK (pyridoxal kinase) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human PDXK qPCR Primer Set – pyridoxal kinase
Also known as: C21orf124, C21orf97, HEL-S-1a, HMSN6C, PKH, PNK, PRED79
About this gene: The PDXK protein phosphorylates vitamin B6, a step required for the conversion of vitamin B6 to pyridoxal-5-phosphate, an important cofactor in intermediary metabolism. The PDXK protein is cytoplasmic and probably acts as a homodimer.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8566; HGNC ID: HGNC:8819; UniProt: O00764; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003681.5; Chromosome location: 21q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
