SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SPTLC3 (serine palmitoyltransferase long chain base subunit 3, also called LCB2b) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SPTLC3 qPCR Primer Set – serine palmitoyltransferase long chain base subunit 3
Also known as: C20orf38, LCB 3, LCB2B, LCB3, SPT 3, SPT3, SPTLC2L, dJ718P11, dJ718P11.1, hLCB2b
About this gene: SPTLC3 encodes a subunit of the serine palmitoyltransferase complex which catalyzes the rate-limiting step in sphingolipid biosynthesis. This subunit metabolizes lauroyl- and myristoyl-CoA and generates C14 and C16-sphingoid bases.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 55304; HGNC ID: HGNC:16253; UniProt: Q9NUV7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_018327.4; Chromosome location: 20p12.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
