Human TASP1 qPCR Primer Set – taspase 1
Also known as: C20orf13, SULEHS, dJ585I14.2
About this gene: TASP1 encodes a endopeptidase that cleaves specific substrates following aspartate residues. The TASP1 protein undergoes posttranslational autoproteolytic processing to generate alpha and beta subunits, which reassemble into the active alpha2-beta2 heterotetramer. The TASP1 gene product is required to cleave MLL, a protein required for the maintenance of HOX gene expression, and TFIIA, a basal transcription factor.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 55617; HGNC ID: HGNC:15859; UniProt: Q9H6P5; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_017714.3; Chromosome location: 20p12.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
