SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human C2 (complement C2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human C2 qPCR Primer Set – complement C2
Also known as: ARMD14, CO2
About this gene: Component C2 is a serum glycoprotein that acts as part of the classical pathway of the complement system. Activated C1 cleaves C2 into C2a and C2b. The serine proteinase C2a then combines with complement factor 4b to create the C3 or C5 convertase.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 717; HGNC ID: HGNC:1248; UniProt: P06681; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000063.6; Chromosome location: 6p21.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
