SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TMEM59 (transmembrane protein 59) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human TMEM59 qPCR Primer Set – transmembrane protein 59
Also known as: C1orf8, DCF1, HSPC001, PRO195, UNQ169
About this gene: TMEM59 encodes a protein shown to regulate autophagy in response to bacterial infection. The TMEM59 protein may also regulate the retention of amyloid precursor protein in the Golgi apparatus through its control of APP glycosylation. Overexpression of this protein has been found to promote apoptosis in a glioma cell line.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9528; HGNC ID: HGNC:1239; UniProt: Q9BXS4; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004872.5; Chromosome location: 1p32.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
