About this gene: CHTOP encodes a small nuclear protein that is characterized by an arginine and glycine rich region. The CHTOP protein may have an important role in the regulation of fetal globin gene expression and in the activation of estrogen-responsive genes. A recent study reported that this protein binds 5-hydroxymethylcytosine and associates with an arginine methyltransferase complex, which promotes methylation of arginine 3 of histone H4 and activation of genes involved in glioblastomagenesis.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
