SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ACTG2 (actin gamma 2, smooth muscle, also called Gamma-2-actin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ACTG2 qPCR Primer Set – actin gamma 2, smooth muscle
Also known as: ACT, ACTA3, ACTE, ACTL3, ACTSG, MMIHS5, VSCM, VSCM1
About this gene: Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in various types of cell motility and in the maintenance of the cytoskeleton. Three types of actins, alpha, beta and gamma, have been identified in vertebrates. Alpha actins are found in muscle tissues and are a major constituent of the contractile apparatus.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 72; HGNC ID: HGNC:145; UniProt: P63267; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001615.4; Chromosome location: 2p13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
