Human LTBP2 qPCR Primer Set – latent transforming growth factor beta binding protein 2
Also known as: C14orf141, GLC3D, LTBP3, MSPKA, MSTP031, WMS3
About this gene: The LTBP2 protein belongs to the family of latent transforming growth factor-beta binding proteins, which are extracellular matrix proteins with multi-domain structure. The LTBP2 protein is the largest member of the LTBP family possessing unique regions and with most similarity to the fibrillins. The LTBP2 gene product has thus been suggested that it may have multiple functions: as a member of the TGF-beta latent complex, as a structural component of microfibrils, and a role in cell adhesion.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4053; HGNC ID: HGNC:6715; UniProt: Q14767; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000428.3; Chromosome location: 14q24.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
