Human PARP1 qPCR Primer Set – poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase 1
Also known as: ADPRT, ADPRT 1, ADPRT1, ARTD1, PARP, PARP-1, PARS, PPOL, Poly-PARP, pADPRT-1
About this gene: This gene encodes a chromatin-associated enzyme, poly(ADP-ribosyl)transferase, which modifies various nuclear proteins by poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation. The modification is dependent on DNA and is involved in the regulation of various important cellular processes such as differentiation, proliferation, and tumor transformation and also in the regulation of the molecular events involved in the recovery of cell from DNA damage. In addition, this enzyme may be the site of mutation in Fanconi anemia, and may participate in the pathophysiology of type I diabetes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 142; HGNC ID: HGNC:270; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001618.4; Chromosome location: 1q42.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
