SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NOS2 (nitric oxide synthase 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NOS2 qPCR Primer Set – nitric oxide synthase 2
Also known as: HEP-NOS, INOS, NOS, NOS2A
About this gene: Nitric oxide is a reactive free radical which acts as a biologic mediator in several processes, including neurotransmission and antimicrobial and antitumoral activities. This gene encodes a nitric oxide synthase which is expressed in liver and is inducible by a combination of lipopolysaccharide and certain cytokines. Three related pseudogenes are located within the Smith-Magenis syndrome region on chromosome 17.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4843; HGNC ID: HGNC:7873; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000625.4; Chromosome location: 17q11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
