About this gene: PGR belongs to the steroid receptor superfamily. The PGR protein mediates the physiological effects of progesterone, which plays a central role in reproductive events linked to the establishment and maintenance of pregnancy. Two of the isoforms are identical except for an additional 165 amino acids found in the N-terminus of isoform B and mediate their own response genes and physiologic effects with little overlap.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
