Human EPHX1 qPCR Primer Set – epoxide hydrolase 1

Also known as: EPHX, EPOX, HYL1, MEH

About this gene: Epoxide hydrolase is a critical biotransformation enzyme that converts epoxides from the degradation of aromatic compounds to trans-dihydrodiols which can be conjugated and excreted from the body. Epoxide hydrolase functions in both the activation and detoxification of epoxides. Mutations in EPHX1 cause preeclampsia, epoxide hydrolase deficiency or increased epoxide hydrolase activity.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2052; HGNC ID: HGNC:3401; UniProt: P07099; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001136018.4; Chromosome location: 1q42.12

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
