Human ZP2 qPCR Primer Set – zona pellucida glycoprotein 2
Also known as: OOMD6, OZEMA6, ZPA, Zp-2
About this gene: The zona pellucida is an extracellular matrix that surrounds the oocyte and early embryo. The ZP2 gene product is composed of three glycoproteins with various functions during fertilization and preimplantation development. The glycosylated mature peptide is one of the structural components of the zona pellucida and functions in secondary binding and penetration of acrosome-reacted spermatozoa.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7783; HGNC ID: HGNC:13188; UniProt: Q05996; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001376232.1; Chromosome location: 16p12.3-p12.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
