SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PATZ1 (POZ/BTB and AT hook containing zinc finger 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PATZ1 qPCR Primer Set – POZ/BTB and AT hook containing zinc finger 1
Also known as: MAZR, PATZ, RIAZ, ZBTB19, ZNF278, ZSG, dJ400N23
About this gene: The PATZ1 protein contains an A-T hook DNA binding motif which usually binds to other DNA binding structures to play an important role in chromatin modeling and transcription regulation. Its Poz domain is believed to function as a site for protein-protein interaction and is required for transcriptional repression, and the zinc-fingers comprise the DNA binding domain. Since the PATZ1 protein has typical features of a transcription factor, it is postulated to be a repressor of gene expression.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23598; HGNC ID: HGNC:13071; UniProt: Q9HBE1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014323.3; Chromosome location: 22q12.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
