About this gene: The ZPR1 protein is found in the cytoplasm of quiescent cells but translocates to the nucleolus in proliferating cells. The ZPR1 protein interacts with survival motor neuron protein to enhance pre-mRNA splicing and to induce neuronal differentiation and axonal growth. Defects in ZPR1 or the SMN1 gene can cause spinal muscular atrophy.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
