About this gene: ZIC3 belongs to the ZIC family of C2H2-type zinc finger proteins. This nuclear protein probably acts as a transcription factor in early stages of left-right body axis formation. Mutations in ZIC3 cause X-linked visceral heterotaxy, which includes congenital heart disease and left-right axis defects in organs.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
