SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ZIC2 (Zic family zinc finger 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ZIC2 qPCR Primer Set – Zic family zinc finger 2
Also known as: HPE5
About this gene: ZIC2 belongs to the ZIC family of C2H2-type zinc finger proteins. The ZIC2 protein acts as a transcriptional repressor and may regulate tissue specific expression of dopamine receptor D1. Expansion of an alanine repeat in the C-terminus of the ZIC2 protein and other mutations in ZIC2 cause holoprosencephaly type 5.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7546; HGNC ID: HGNC:12873; UniProt: O95409; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_007129.5; Chromosome location: 13q32.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
