SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ZDHHC9 (zDHHC palmitoyltransferase 9, also called DHHC9) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ZDHHC9 qPCR Primer Set – zDHHC palmitoyltransferase 9
Also known as: CGI89, CXorf11, DHHC9, MMSA1, MRXSR, MRXSZ, ZDHHC10, ZNF379, ZNF380
About this gene: ZDHHC9 encodes a integral membrane protein that belongs to the zinc finger DHHC domain-containing protein family. The ZDHHC9 protein forms a complex with golgin subfamily A member 7 and acts as a palmitoyltransferase. The ZDHHC9 protein specifically palmitoylates HRAS and NRAS. Mutations in ZDHHC9 are linked to X-linked cognitive disability.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 51114; HGNC ID: HGNC:18475; UniProt: Q9Y397; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_016032.4; Chromosome location: Xq26.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
