Human ZC3HAV1 qPCR Primer Set – zinc finger CCCH-type containing, antiviral 1

Also known as: ARTD13, FLB6421, PARP13, ZAP, ZC3H2, ZC3HDC2

About this gene: ZC3HAV1 encodes a CCCH-type zinc finger protein. This antiviral protein inhibits viral replication by recruiting cellular RNA degradation machineries to degrade viral mRNAs. The ZC3HAV1 protein is important for the innate immune response against multiple DNA and RNA viruses, including Ebola virus, HIV and SARS-CoV-2.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 56829; HGNC ID: HGNC:23721; UniProt: Q7Z2W4; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_020119.4; Chromosome location: 7q34

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
