SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human YY1 (YY1 transcription factor, also called NF-E1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human YY1 qPCR Primer Set – YY1 transcription factor
Also known as: DELTA, GADEVS, INO80S, NF-E1, UCRBP, YIN-YANG-1
About this gene: YY1 is a ubiquitously distributed transcription factor belonging to the GLI-Kruppel class of zinc finger proteins. The protein is involved in repressing and activating a diverse number of promoters. YY1 may direct histone deacetylases and histone acetyltransferases to a promoter in order to activate or repress the promoter, thus implicating histone modification in the function of YY1.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7528; HGNC ID: HGNC:12856; UniProt: P25490; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003403.5; Chromosome location: 14q32.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
