SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human YWHAH (tyrosine 3-monooxygenase/tryptophan 5-monooxygenase activation protein eta) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human YWHAH qPCR Primer Set – tyrosine 3-monooxygenase/tryptophan 5-monooxygenase activation protein eta
Also known as: YWHA1
About this gene: YWHAH product belongs to the 14-3-3 family of proteins which mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. This highly conserved protein family is found in both plants and mammals, and this protein is 99% identical to the mouse, rat and bovine orthologs. YWHAH contains a 7 bp repeat sequence in its 5' UTR, and changes in the number of this repeat have been linked to early-onset schizophrenia and psychotic bipolar disorder.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7533; HGNC ID: HGNC:12853; UniProt: Q04917; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003405.4; Chromosome location: 22q12.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
