Human YWHAG qPCR Primer Set – tyrosine 3-monooxygenase/tryptophan 5-monooxygenase activation protein gamma
Also known as: 14-3-3GAMMA, DEE56, EIEE56, PPP1R170
About this gene: YWHAG product belongs to the 14-3-3 family of proteins which mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. This highly conserved protein family is found in both plants and mammals, and this protein is 100% identical to the rat ortholog. The YWHAG gene product is induced by growth factors in human vascular smooth muscle cells, and is also highly expressed in skeletal and heart muscles, suggesting an important role for this protein in muscle tissue.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7532; HGNC ID: HGNC:12852; UniProt: P61981; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012479.4; Chromosome location: 7q11.23
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
