About this gene: The YME1L1 protein is the human ortholog of yeast mitochondrial AAA metalloprotease, Yme1p. The YME1L1 gene product is localized in the mitochondria and can functionally complement a yme1 disruptant yeast strain. The YME1L1 gene product is proposed that YME1L1 is involved in mitochondrial protein metabolism and could be involved in mitochondrial pathologies.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
