Human XRCC1 qPCR Primer Set – X-ray repair cross complementing 1
Also known as: RCC, SCAR26
About this gene: The XRCC1 protein is involved in the efficient repair of DNA single-strand breaks formed by exposure to ionizing radiation and alkylating agents. The XRCC1 protein interacts with DNA ligase III, polymerase beta and poly polymerase to participate in the base excision repair pathway. The XRCC1 gene product may play a role in DNA processing during meiogenesis and recombination in germ cells.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7515; HGNC ID: HGNC:12828; UniProt: P18887; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006297.3; Chromosome location: 19q13.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
