About this gene: The XPC protein is a key component of the XPC complex, which is important for the early steps of global genome nucleotide excision repair. The XPC protein is important for damage sensing and DNA binding, and shows a preference for single-stranded DNA. Mutations in XPC or some other NER components can result in Xeroderma pigmentosum.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
