SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human XPA (XPA, DNA damage recognition and repair factor) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human XPA qPCR Primer Set – XPA, DNA damage recognition and repair factor
Also known as: XP1, XPAC
About this gene: XPA encodes a zinc finger protein plays a central role in nucleotide excision repair, a specialized type of DNA repair. NER is responsible for repair of UV radiation-induced photoproducts and DNA adducts induced by chemical carcinogens and chemotherapeutic drugs. The XPA protein interacts with DNA and multiple NER proteins, acting as a scaffold to assemble the NER incision complex at sites of DNA damage.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7507; HGNC ID: HGNC:12814; UniProt: P23025; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000380.4; Chromosome location: 9q22.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
