Human DNAH1 qPCR Primer Set – dynein axonemal heavy chain 1

Also known as: CILD37, DNAHC1, HDHC7, HL-11, HL11, HSRF-1, SPGF18, XLHSRF-1

About this gene: DNAH1 encodes a inner dynein arm heavy chain that provides structural support between the radial spokes and the outer doublet of the sperm tail. Naturally occurring mutations in DNAH1 are linked to primary ciliary dyskinesia and multiple morphological anomalies of the flagella that result in asthenozoospermia and male infertility. Mice with a homozygous knockout of the orthologous gene are viable but have reduced sperm motility and are infertile.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25981; HGNC ID: HGNC:2940; UniProt: Q9P2D7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_015512.5; Chromosome location: 3p21.1

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
