SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human XKRY (XK related, Y-linked (pseudogene)) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human XKRY qPCR Primer Set – XK related, Y-linked (pseudogene)
Also known as: XKRY1
About this gene: This probable pseudogene is located in the nonrecombining portion of the Y chromosome, and is expressed specifically in testis. The XKRY gene product is similar to the XK gene, which encodes a putative membrane transport protein. XKRY is present as two identical copies within a palindromic region; this record represents the more centromeric copy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9082; HGNC ID: HGNC:18571; Chromosome location: Yq11.222
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
