SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human XBP1 (X-box binding protein 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human XBP1 qPCR Primer Set – X-box binding protein 1
Also known as: TREB-5, TREB5, XBP-1, XBP2
About this gene: XBP1 encodes a transcription factor that regulates MHC class II genes by binding to a promoter element referred to as an X box. XBP1 product is a bZIP protein, which was also identified as a cellular transcription factor that binds to an enhancer in the promoter of the T cell leukemia virus type 1 promoter. The XBP1 gene product may increase expression of viral proteins by acting as the DNA binding partner of a viral transactivator.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7494; HGNC ID: HGNC:12801; UniProt: P17861; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001079539.2; Chromosome location: 22q12.1|22q12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
