SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human WT1 (WT1 transcription factor, also called WT33) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human WT1 qPCR Primer Set – WT1 transcription factor
Also known as: AWT1, GUD, NPHS4, WAGR, WIT-2, WT-1, WT33
About this gene: WT1 encodes a transcription factor that contains four zinc-finger motifs at the C-terminus and a proline/glutamine-rich DNA-binding domain at the N-terminus. The WT1 gene product has an essential role in the normal development of the urogenital system, and it is mutated in a small subset of patients with Wilms tumor. WT1 exhibits complex tissue-specific and polymorphic imprinting pattern, with biallelic, and monoallelic expression from the maternal and paternal alleles in different tissues.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7490; HGNC ID: HGNC:12796; UniProt: P19544; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024426.6; Chromosome location: 11p13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
