Human WRNIP1 qPCR Primer Set – WRN helicase interacting protein 1
Also known as: CFAP93, FAP93, WHIP, bA420G6.2
About this gene: Werner's syndrome is a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by accelerated aging that is caused by defects in the Werner syndrome ATP-dependent helicase gene. The WRNIP1 protein interacts with the exonuclease-containing N-terminal portion of the Werner protein. The WRNIP1 protein has a ubiquitin-binding zinc-finger domain in the N-terminus, an ATPase domain, and two leucine zipper motifs in the C-terminus.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 56897; HGNC ID: HGNC:20876; UniProt: Q96S55; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_020135.3; Chromosome location: 6p25.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
