Human WFDC1 qPCR Primer Set – WAP four-disulfide core domain 1
Also known as: PS20
About this gene: WFDC1 belongs to the WAP-type four disulfide core domain family. The WAP-type four-disulfide core domain contains eight cysteines forming four disulfide bonds at the core of the protein, and acts as a protease inhibitor in many family members. WFDC1 is mapped to chromosome 16q24, an area of frequent loss of heterozygosity in cancers, including prostate, breast and hepatocellular cancers and Wilms' tumor.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 58189; HGNC ID: HGNC:15466; UniProt: Q9HC57; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_021197.4; Chromosome location: 16q24.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
