SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human AKTIP (AKT interacting protein, also called Ft1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human AKTIP qPCR Primer Set – AKT interacting protein
Also known as: FT1, FTS
About this gene: The mouse homolog of AKTIP produces fused toes and thymic hyperplasia in heterozygous mutant animals while homozygous mutants die in early development. AKTIP may play a role in apoptosis as these morphological abnormalities are caused by altered patterns of programmed cell death. The AKTIP protein is similar to the ubiquitin ligase domain of other ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes but lacks the conserved cysteine residue that enables those enzymes to conjugate ubiquitin to the target protein.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 64400; HGNC ID: HGNC:16710; UniProt: Q9H8T0; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_022476.4; Chromosome location: 16q12.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
